Yes you can use the Cataplana on any type of cooker but remember use low heat to prevent food sticking to the Cataplana.

Yes the Cataplana can be used in the oven but again on a Low Heat.

Can I use my cataplana on the barbeque or on a open fire?

Yes the Cataplana can be used on a barbeque or in the embers of a open fire.

Can I cook anything in the cataplana?
A: Yes almost anything can be cooked in the Cataplana but remember there needs to be some liquid in it to prevent food from sticking.
